Abstract

With the continuous deepening of the new curriculum reform, the new curriculum standards propose to integrate and optimize the content structure of the courses, and strengthen the teaching connection between different educational stages. This is both a new opportunity and a challenge for the majority of history teachers. This article discusses the significance of the connection between junior and senior high school history teaching, and then proposes some corresponding improvement strategies. The aim is to seize this crucial period of the connection between junior and senior high school history, cultivate students' good learning habits and methods, fully exert students' initiative, and further enhance students' core historical literacy.
